Art and Archaeology MUSEUM - VALE DO CÔA

I have followed with the apprentice enthusiasm the construction of the Museum of Art and Archaeology of the Coa Valley - Portugal, as a student of the Architect Camilo Rebelo at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Porto.
For this reason, for almost 5 years that I schedule a visit to the Coa Valley. I recently had the opportunity to finally do. I was seduced.
The landscape is well known, beautiful and vertiginous, does not need comments. The Building of the Museum, well, the commentary is mandatory since are projects like this that enhance my passion for the architecture and the art of building, with subtlety, the relationship Human / Nature.
The Collection of the Museum is higher value. But as an architect, what fascinates me most are the spaces, transitions, the smell and the textures of materials, the light, and the connections inside / outside, which are revealed by narrow vertical gaps.
The simplicity of the spaces, and the complexity of the gestures, will defining unique spatial experiences.
An exciting experience, which quickly becomes an endless source of inspiration, and a disturbing willingness to design and create.
For me it is natural to see when a project, a work, a construction, is of superior quality. I start shooting, and without any deep knowledge of photography, I become hunter of perfect frameworks, which are due to all the amazing ways that light traces in space.
The specialty is the main ally of the photograph. And the Museum of the Coa Valley is, without hesitation, a magnificent link between Heaven and Earth.

Fiquei seduzida.
